What is FRM?

FRM – Financial risk management is a professional certification test. FRM is the 1st of the 2-part FRM exam. FRM is a highly sought-after certification by candidates who are keen on specializing in risk management in businesses.

FRM is administered by The Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), a private nonprofit organization in USA.

Who writes FRM?

FRM is written by working professionals or college students or candidates who have qualified certain Professional Certification courses such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, etc.

What is the FRM work experience requirement?

In order to fulfill FRM work experience requirement, Candidates must complete two continuous years of professional experience in financial risk management or any relative area. Experience requirement must be completed within five years from the date of passing the FRM exam.
